OK its time!

School has started, cheer is in full swing, and I need my mommy time and break time. SO getting back to bloggy blog land and crafting up a storm works for me. SO in the near future... hopefully sooner than later I will post some good fun. In the mean time here is a picture of Peach from last weekends jamboree!

Now we are off to another game in 45 minutes! So have a fabulous Sunday!

crafty Snowflakes

I do enjoy many many many MANY crafty blogs. The other day I did come across this super cool craft project to do with the Peach. Check out these fun recycled toilet paper roll Snowflake ornaments from Chasing Fireflies. We had been collecting empty TP rolls for some time now, just waiting for the perfect crafty project to use them for. We have made a bunch. Georgia LOVES making them. She is going to be making them for each family member we visit for the Christmas holiday. Here are a few snap shots of our fun festive crafty times!

These came out really pretty for glittery TP rolls all cut up! Amazing, right?! haha Do check out Chasing Fireflies blog for other nifty things.

Last night Peach and I played a super fantastic game of monopoly. It was getting late so we set it aside to pick up sometime today. Um...Peach is winning. hehe

My loot....notice how there isn't much there! hahaha

I will keep you posted on who wins! I'm sure my sweet little Peach will keep her lead with all her fancy houses and hotels.... you know I told her the rooms were dirty and needed fresh sheets on the beds. haha She giggled!

Oh we did a little fishtail braid in her hair last night after the shower. Its pretty cute. She digs it.

Until next time, where I will have some new upcycled clothing I hope! I have some things ready to be cut....I will take some pictures of the before later to show you!

Have a Superriffic day!

A little crafty Christmas...

Well, you know we got our tree the other day from the picture. We also put up some decor around the house, here are just a few pictures of some of the Santa's I have painted.

Until later! Peach and I have some crafting to do today... I knew that my drawer full of Toilet paper rolls would come in handy one day.

Scrappy sleeve into a new hat for Julie

I found the scrap of a sleeve from Peach's Taylor Swift outfit I made her last year. I knew from the second I found it what it was gonna be. It was the perfect project to help get me out of my crafters block. Now, I have plenty of things to get moving on...like a few Christmas gifts for the Peach while she sleeps. hehe

This took me all of about 3 minutes to whip up!

So from this....

Its been too long my friend

Yes, it has been way too long since my last post, during the summer! YIKES. Its been a crazy few months here in Slownoma. Peach is doing cheerleading. Although football is over, the girls keep moving on with competitions. I will post some pictures of cheer soon. and some of my new projects I am working on. Georgia is heading to her Grandma's for Thanksgiving for five days. That leaves me with lots of alone time to clean and sew!!! I have not done in some time.

Well, this was just a pop in drive by for now. I am getting Peach ready to roll when her Grandma gets here. I will be back later today sometimes to post pictures and lots of fun stuff.

Until then!

Pancakes!

Just a quick little post today. Its been too long. I know I know. I'm slackin. I am getting ready to get back on my sewing. I took a little break for a little bit. BUT now my ideas are over flowing out of my head so its time to do something about them!

Until then, my little tip for the day. We get the big back of pancake mix. Then when I make pancakes for the Peach, I make a BIIIIG batch of little ones to freeze. I put them in little ziplock bags. Peach loves those mini pancakes that come in the box in your freezer section at the store. BUT why pay for them, when you can make the same amount for way cheap if you just buy a big bag of mix for the same price?? So that is my tip for the day. When you make pancakes, make a lot at one time, butter them and freeze them in little bags and there ya go! Homemade breakfast with out the time or the mess.

There ya go! Now, my next post won't be so long from now, and hope to have some funky sewing going on. After all school clothes are in need of sewing!! We are only a month away until 3rd grade folks!!!
